0.1250" / 1/8" down-cut square-end carbide end mill with .600" LOC and standard 1/8" shank.
This solid carbide end mill is designed for CNC cutting, profiling, and detail work where clean top-edge finish is important. The down-cut flute direction helps push chips downward, which can improve top-surface edge quality in wood, plastics, and similar sheet or panel materials.
The square-end geometry is useful for slotting, profiling, pockets, contours, and flat-bottom cuts in appropriate materials.
Common Applications
- Woodworking and CNC routing
- Plastic, acrylic, and soft material cutting
- Clean top-edge cuts in sheet and panel materials
- Slotting, profiling, pockets, and contours
- Ice sculpting, foam, and other specialty soft-material applications
- Hobby CNC, prototype work, and light production setups
Benefits
- Down-cut geometry can improve top-edge surface quality
- 1/8" cutting diameter is useful for general small CNC routing and milling work
- .600" LOC provides more reach than shorter stub-length tools
- Square-end geometry works well for profiles, slots, pockets, and flat-bottom cuts
- Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance
- Standard 1/8" shank fits many compact CNC routers and precision collet setups

Down-cut note: Down-cut end mills are commonly used when top-edge finish is important. Because chips are pushed downward, use proper feeds, speeds, chip clearing, and shallow passes as needed for your material and machine.
