PCD vs. CVD Diamond-Coated Routers
PCD polycrystalline diamond-coated router bits make up most of this collection and are well suited for carbon fiber, fiberglass, PCB laminates, and other highly abrasive composites where extended tool life is important.
Select CVD diamond-coated router bits are also available. CVD-coated tools provide excellent wear resistance and are useful for demanding routing applications involving abrasive composite and laminate materials.

Important Use Notes
- Use a suitable spindle speed, feed rate, depth of cut, and dust-extraction system for the material and tool diameter.
- Composite dust can be hazardous. Use appropriate respiratory protection and effective dust collection.
- Support thin laminate materials securely to help reduce vibration, lifting, and edge damage.
- These are primarily PCD diamond-coated carbide router bits, with select CVD diamond-coated models. They are not brazed PCD-tipped tools unless specifically stated in an individual product listing.
