This single O-flute carbide end mill features a 0.1250" (1/8") cutting diameter, 1.25" length of cut, 2.25" overall length, and a standard 1/8" shank. Its bright, uncoated solid carbide construction makes it a practical choice for CNC routing, milling, profiling, slotting, and trimming in plastics and suitable non-ferrous materials.

The single O-flute geometry is especially well suited for cutting acrylic, plastic, PVC, and other softer materials. It may also be used in aluminum and suitable non-ferrous materials when proper feeds, speeds, chip clearing, and workholding are used.

The up-cut design helps evacuate chips efficiently and can improve bottom-edge cut quality in many routing applications. Because up-cut tools pull chips upward, the top edge may require proper hold-down, masking, or finishing depending on the material.

Important setup note: This tool has a very long 1.25" LOC relative to its 1/8" cutting diameter. Use light passes, conservative feeds, good chip clearing, and secure workholding to reduce deflection, chatter, heat buildup, or tool breakage.
