0.0312" / 1/32" down-cut 2-flute square-end carbide end mill with .200" LOC and standard 1/8" shank.

This small-diameter carbide end mill is designed for precision CNC milling, fine detail cutting, small slots, and clean top-edge finish work. The down-cut flute direction helps push chips downward, which can improve top-surface edge quality in many sheet and panel materials.

The 2-flute square-end geometry is useful for slotting, profiling, engraving, and flat-bottom detail cuts in appropriate materials.

Common Applications

  • Fine CNC milling and detail cutting
  • Small slots, pockets, and contours
  • Plastic, acrylic, wood, MDF, composites, and suitable non-ferrous materials
  • Applications where top-edge cut quality is important
  • Light engraving, profiling, and precision routing work

Benefits

  • Down-cut geometry can improve top-edge surface quality
  • 2-flute design balances chip clearance and cutting strength
  • Square-end geometry for slots, pockets, profiles, and flat-bottom cuts
  • Small 1/32" / 0.80mm diameter for fine-detail machining
  • Polished flutes help reduce chip sticking in suitable materials
  • Standard 1/8" shank fits many compact CNC routers and precision collet setups

Down-cut note: Down-cut end mills are commonly used when top-edge finish is important. Because chips are pushed downward, use proper feeds, speeds, chip clearing, and shallow passes as needed for your material and machine.
