0.0312" (1/32") x .197" LOC 2-Flute Square End Carbide End Mill, Extended Flute, 1/8" Shank – M108

This special-made Kyocera precision micro carbide end mill features a 0.0312" (1/32") cutting diameter, .197" extended length of cut, 2-flute square end geometry, 1.50" overall length, and a standard 1/8" shank. It is designed for fine CNC milling, slotting, profiling, and detailed cutting where a small diameter and longer flute length are required.

The extended .197" LOC provides more cutting reach than standard short-flute 1/32" micro end mills, making this tool useful for deeper slotting, profiling, and detail work where the extra flute length is needed. The 2-flute up-cut design helps evacuate chips efficiently while maintaining a clean cutting action in many micro-tool applications.

This tool is suitable for fine detail work in plastics, acrylic, wood, composites, fiberglass, and soft non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and brass when proper feeds, speeds, workholding, and tool runout control are used.

Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance for precision micro-machining. The square end geometry is useful for small slotting, profiling, contouring, and creating flat-bottom features in fine CNC work.

Common Applications

  • Micro CNC milling
  • Deeper small-slot cutting
  • Small profiling and contouring
  • Plastic and acrylic machining
  • Wood detail cutting
  • PCB milling and routing
  • Composite and fiberglass machining
  • Soft metals such as aluminum and brass
  • Fine engraving and detail cutting

Benefits

  • Special-made Kyocera extended flute carbide end mill
  • 1/32" cutting diameter is useful for precision detail work and small features
  • Extended .197" LOC provides added reach compared with standard short-flute 1/32" tools
  • 2-flute design balances chip clearance and cutting strength
  • Up-cut geometry helps clear chips during cutting
  • Square end geometry is suitable for slotting, profiling, and flat-bottom cuts
  • Standard 1/8" shank fits many CNC routers and small precision toolholders
