0.1250" / 1/8" ball nose carbide end mill with .500" LOC and standard 1/8" shank.

This solid carbide end mill features a 0.1250" / 1/8" / 3.175mm cutting diameter, two spiral flutes, polished flutes, and a ball nose cutting end. It is useful for 3D contouring, rounded profiles, finishing passes, and detailed CNC milling work.

The ball nose geometry is designed for smooth curved surfaces and 3D toolpaths. The up-cut flute direction helps evacuate chips upward during cutting.

Common Applications

  • 3D contouring and profiling
  • Finish passes and curved-surface machining
  • Relief carving and detailed CNC work
  • Plastic, acrylic, and wood machining
  • Aluminum, brass, copper, and other suitable non-ferrous materials
  • Composite materials, fiberglass, FR-4, G10, and MDF

Benefits

  • Ball nose end style is useful for smooth contours and 3D profiles
  • 2-flute design balances chip clearance and cutting strength
  • Up-cut flute direction helps evacuate chips upward
  • Polished flutes help reduce friction and improve chip flow
  • Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance
  • Standard 1/8" shank fits many compact CNC routers and precision collet setups
