This single O-flute carbide end mill features a 2.00mm cutting diameter, 12mm length of cut, single O-flute geometry, 1.50" overall length, and a standard 1/8" shank. Its polished-flute solid carbide construction makes it a practical choice for CNC routing, milling, profiling, slotting, and trimming in plastics and suitable non-ferrous materials.

The O-flute geometry is especially well suited for cutting acrylic, plastic, PVC, and other softer materials. It may also be used in aluminum and suitable non-ferrous metals when proper feeds, speeds, chip clearing, and workholding are used.

The up-cut design helps evacuate chips efficiently by pulling chips up and away from the cut. In many routing applications, up-cut geometry can improve bottom-edge cut quality, but the top edge may require proper hold-down, masking, or finishing depending on the material.

With a 12mm LOC, this tool provides more cutting reach than many shorter O-flute end mills while still being useful for small-diameter routing and detail work. Use appropriate pass depth, conservative feeds, good chip clearing, and secure workholding to reduce deflection, chatter, or tool breakage.
