This 5/32" (0.1562") 3-flute ball nose carbide end mill from Kyocera is manufactured from micro-grain solid carbide and features an extended reach neck design for machining deeper cavities and complex surfaces in CNC milling applications.
Ball nose end mills are commonly used for 3D contour milling, mold and die machining, and complex surface finishing. The rounded cutting tip allows smooth transitions and improved surface finish when machining curved geometries and detailed profiles.
The bright (uncoated) carbide finish provides sharp cutting edges ideal for machining aluminum, plastics, graphite, and other non-ferrous materials. The 3-flute geometry provides a strong cutting edge while maintaining good chip evacuation, and the extended neck length allows the tool to reach deeper features while reducing holder interference.
