10 Solid Carbide Diamond-Flute Router Bits | 5 Sizes | Very Lightly Used

The URDV100 Diamond-Flute Router Bit Set includes 10 solid carbide CNC router bits in five cutting diameters ranging from 0.0500" to 0.1250" (approximately 1.27–3.175mm). Each tool features diamond-pattern cutting geometry, a fishtail plunge tip, and a standard 1/8" shank.

Originally used in circuit board production, these routers provide an economical assortment for PCB routing, FR4/G10 fiberglass laminates, abrasive composites, CNC prototyping, and precision cutout work.

Condition: Very Lightly Used. These tools were removed from circuit board production service under strict quality and dimensional requirements, before heavy visible wear. They offer a cost-effective alternative to new tooling for hobbyists, prototypes, testing, and light industrial applications.

Included Sizes – 10 Router Bits

Qty. Diameter (Inch) Approx. mm Flute Length
2 0.0500" 1.27 0.330"
3 0.0625" (1/16") 1.59 0.315"
2 0.0790" 2.01 0.400"
2 0.0938" (approx. 3/32") 2.38 0.394"
1 0.1250" (1/8") 3.175 0.472"

Total: 10 router bits in 5 diameters. All tools have a standard 1/8" (3.175mm) shank.

Diamond-Flute Cutting Geometry

Diamond-flute routers, also called diamond-cut or diamond-pattern routers, feature intersecting cutting edges that produce a fine, multi-edge cutting action. This geometry is well suited to abrasive and layered materials where controlled cutting and edge quality are important.

  • Diamond-pattern cutting geometry for PCB laminates, fiberglass, and composites
  • Fine cutting action helps reduce chipping, fraying, and delamination when properly used
  • Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and abrasion resistance
  • Five useful cutting diameters accommodate different CNC routing requirements
  • 1/8" shanks fit compatible precision CNC collets and tool holders

Important: Diamond-flute describes the cutting-edge geometry. These are uncoated solid carbide router bits, not diamond-coated or PCD tools.

Fishtail Plunge Tips

Each router features a fishtail-style tip for controlled entry into suitable sheet materials. Depending on the workpiece, machine rigidity, and cutting conditions, fishtail tips can help limit material breakout and may permit direct plunge entry without a separate starting hole.

When through-routing, select a flute length greater than the material thickness and provide adequate clearance below the workpiece.

Typical Applications

  • PCB routing, board profiling, slots, and cutouts
  • FR4 and G10 fiberglass laminates
  • Phenolic and other abrasive laminate materials
  • Fiberglass-reinforced plastics and composite sheets
  • Carbon fiber composites where standard carbide tooling is suitable
  • Small CNC routing, trimming, and precision profiling
  • Hobby CNC, prototyping, testing, and light industrial work

Very Lightly Used – Value Tooling

These routers were previously used in controlled circuit board production. Production tooling may be retired before extensive visible wear because of dimensional, quality, or process requirements.

This assortment provides access to solid carbide industrial routing tools at a reduced cost compared with purchasing new tooling.

These are previously used tools, not new or factory-resharpened routers. Minor evidence of prior use may be present, and remaining cutting life can vary.

Feeds & Speeds

Proper spindle speed, feed rate, depth of cut, secure workholding, and dust extraction are important when machining PCB laminates, fiberglass, and abrasive composite materials.
