50-Piece Solid Carbide Diamond-Flute Router Set | 6 Sizes | New or Lightly Used
The DCF-50 Diamond-Flute Router Variety Set includes 50 solid carbide CNC router bits in six cutting diameters ranging from 0.0394" (1.00mm) to 0.1250" (3.175mm). Each router features diamond-pattern cutting geometry, a fishtail plunge tip, and a standard 1/8" shank.
Ideal for PCB routing, board cutouts, trimming, and profiling in FR4/G10 fiberglass laminates and other abrasive composite materials. This assortment provides multiple useful router sizes for CNC machining, prototyping, hobby projects, and production applications.
Available in New or Lightly Used condition. Select your preferred option before adding the set to your cart.
Included Sizes – 50 Router Bits
Each set includes the following six cutting diameters:
| Qty. | Diameter (Inch) | Diameter (mm) | Flute Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 0.0394" | 1.00mm | 0.256" |
| 10 | 0.0500" | 1.25mm | 0.300" |
| 10 | 0.0630" (approx. 1/16") | 1.60mm | 0.315" |
| 5 | 0.0787" | 2.00mm | 0.400" |
| 10 | 0.0945" (approx. 3/32") | 2.40mm | 0.400" |
| 5 | 0.1250" (1/8") | 3.175mm | 0.472" |
Total: 50 pieces in 6 sizes. All routers feature a 1/8" (3.175mm) shank and 1.500" overall length.
Choose Your Condition: New or Lightly Used
Both condition options contain the same 50-piece size assortment shown above.
NEW – 50 Pieces
New, unused solid carbide diamond-flute router bits. Suitable for customers who prefer new tooling for CNC routing, PCB fabrication, and precision production work.
LIGHTLY USED – 50 Pieces
Previously used solid carbide router bits removed from controlled circuit board production service. These offer an economical alternative for prototyping, hobby CNC work, testing, and light industrial applications.
Lightly used tools may show evidence of prior service. Remaining cutting life may vary and should not be assumed equivalent to new tooling.
Diamond-Flute Cutting Geometry
Diamond-flute routers, also known as diamond-cut or diamond-pattern router bits, feature intersecting cutting edges that perform a fine, multi-edge cutting action. This geometry is particularly useful for machining abrasive, brittle, and layered materials.
- Diamond-pattern cutting edges for fiberglass and composite routing
- Suitable for PCB board outlines, slots, profiling, and cutouts
- Multiple cutting edges distribute cutting action along the flute
- Solid carbide construction offers stiffness and abrasion resistance
- Six different cutting diameters provide flexibility for small CNC work
- Fishtail tips allow plunge entry in suitable materials and cutting conditions
Important: Diamond-flute refers to the cutting-edge geometry. These are uncoated solid carbide tools, not diamond-coated or PCD router bits.
For more information about this cutting geometry, see our Diamond-Flute Router Guide.
Fishtail Plunge Tips
Each router features a fishtail-style plunge tip designed for entry into suitable sheet materials. Depending on machine rigidity, material, and cutting conditions, the tip may permit direct plunge entry without requiring a separate starting hole.
For through-cutting, select a flute length appropriate for the material thickness and provide adequate clearance beneath the workpiece.
Typical Applications
- PCB routing, profiling, and circuit board cutouts
- FR4 and G10 fiberglass laminates
- Fiberglass-reinforced and abrasive composite materials
- Carbon fiber composites where standard carbide tooling is suitable
- Phenolic laminates and other suitable layered materials
- Small CNC routing, prototyping, trimming, and detail cutting
- Selected plastic and wood applications where diamond-flute geometry is appropriate
Working primarily with carbon fiber? Carbon fiber is highly abrasive and can accelerate carbide tool wear. For demanding or repeated production cutting, consider our PCD and CVD Diamond-Coated Router Bits for extended wear resistance.
