Solid carbide drills are rigid and wear resistant, but they are also brittle. Use a stable, low-runout holder such as a CNC spindle, drill press, mill, micro-drill fixture, or other controlled setup. Keep the drill aligned with the work and avoid side pressure, bending, or forcing the tool.
