PCB Isolation Milling

This 60° pyramid engraver can be used to remove a narrow channel of copper around PCB traces and pads. The finished isolation width depends on the cutting depth, actual tip geometry, spindle runout, and board flatness.

For best results, begin with a shallow test cut and adjust the engraving depth or effective tool diameter in your CAM software. Accurate Z-height control, secure board mounting, and surface probing or height mapping are recommended when available.

Note: This engraver is intended for copper trace isolation. Separate PCB drills and routing tools should be used for component holes, slots, and cutting the board outline.
